A date with daddy

On Wednesdays, momma and I go downtown to have lunch with daddy.

Sunday best

On Sunday momma dressed me in a pink gingham outfit for church. I have so many cute clothes! Today no one asked whether I was a girl or boy. Can you believe some people can't tell just by seeing me? What is wrong with them?

I am sitting in my favorite chair, which plays music and vibrates. I like to talk to the bunny that hangs over my head.


Here I am in my crib, looking up at the birdie mobile my momma made for me. I LOVE my mobile. The birdies are so fun to watch!

A debut at church

On Sunday, July 20, I made my debut at church. My best friend, Owen, had his baby dedication that day, and I didn't want to miss such a big day for Owen. I was so good, I slept through the entire thing! I was very happy for Owen, though. (FYI, a baby dedication is like a christening or baptism, but without the water. ) All of Momma and Daddy's friends at church were happy to meet me.

Ready for our debut! You can't tell, but I am wearing a little yellow dress with flowers embroidered down the front, and yellow socks that look like Mary Jane shoes. I looked beautiful!

Knitting friends

As mentioned earlier in this blog, Momma is a knitting fanatic. As such, she am part of a group of friends that get together once a week and knit (it is called Stitch and B****). Here I am in purple butterfly jammies from Jennifer, and laying on a blanket made by Kelly, Sarah, Amy, Jenny, Esther, Liz, Mo, Katharine, Susan, Maya, Meredith, and Laura!

Happy Birthday, Logan!

On July 15, 2008, my brother Logan turned 10 years old! It is hard to believe! Yes, he does now have gray around his face and he IS eating "senior large breed" dog food, but to Momma he is still her little guy.

No matter his age, the hedgehog continues to be Logan's most coveted toy. We have LOTS of hedgehogs at our house, though most are carcasses, thanks to his sister, Lucy!

One Month Old!

Today I turned 1 month old! We started the day with a visit to the doctor, who assured us that I am perfectly perfect in every way, just like Mary Poppins! (Momma's words, not the doc's!). I now weigh 9lbs, 1oz. I am such a good baby!

The 4th of July

Our friends Laura and Owen came over to celebrate July 4th with us. Owen is my best friend. Owen dressed for the occasion in his firecracker outfit and I wore my party dress!

More Grandparents!

Last week Grandma and Grandpa Sanborn came in town from Colorado! Popsy and Little Grandma were here a couple more days and then they went home to St. Louis. We miss them already!
