An ode to Creme Brulee

Oh, my sweet creme brulee.
You are so divine.
So creamy and smooth,
I am happy you are mine!
The beauty of this special treat
is pure deliciousness
Oh, my sweet creme brulee,
you are bliss!

Seriously, folks...

I mean, really....

This stuff is just....

truly,

fantastically,

amazing!

Wouldn't you agree??

Funny girl

I like to sleep with lots of things in my bed. I often sneak in additional items but Momma finds them and takes them out. She says there has to be room for ME in the bed, too! Sometimes I fall asleep on top of everything, but lately I have been organizing my toys.

See, Auntie Sister made me this cool bumper for my bed. I like to use it as a big pocket to put things!

Like, for example, my dolly, elephant, doggie, and honey bear!

See, Momma, all nice and organized!

Hey, do you eat corn on the cob? I LOVE it. I mean, is there a more fun vegetable to eat? I don't think so. I eat it all up and then try to eat Momma's and Daddy's if they aren't fast enough!

YUM!!

More summer fun

Another fun thing to do in the summer is to go to the playground at Memorial park. You have to go early in the morning, but that works out okay because I get up early!! A few weekends ago, Momma and Daddy and I went to Memorial park to play!

Here we come!

I brought my ball with me!

I'm in a tunnel!

Or is it a LION's cage???

Picking flowers for Momma. So many pretty flowers....

Water fun!

It is summertime here in Houston, and boy is it hot! Momma and I have a variety of activities to keep cool in the summer, but here are 2 of my favorites. First, here is my water table. Little G and Popsy got it for me last summer and this summer I like it even more!

In case you are wondering, a water table is this fun thing that has an iceberg a walrus, polar bear, and penguin to play with. I also like to put my cars and boats in there so they can go for a swim.

The best part though, is this bucket that I have in my hand. There is a little hole on the bottom and it is supposed to be used for the slide in the iceberg, for the penguin to slide down. But I found a better use!

Fill it up and DUMP IT OUT! Yippee!

It is SO MUCH FUN!

Then I like to drive my cars down Logan's ramp. The ramp is to help him to get onto the porch easier, but he doesn't like to use it (a pride thing). I like to walk up and down the ramp, and it makes my cars go FAST!

Another super-fun summer activity is swimming! Our friends Jay and Rick have an amazing pool that they let us use while they are at work! It is so great. Thanks so much, Jay and Rick! Here are Owen and I playing at the pool!

Boy oh boy do we have fun! You gotta find great ways to make the summer days bearable!!

Pretty flowers

A few weeks ago, Momma and Daddy and I went to see the pretty wildflowers! The blue ones were gone, but we found some pretty pink and red ones! I kept saying "pretty flowers, pretty flowers!" It was fun!

We had a great time!

The Children's Museum

Owen and I went to the Children's Museum! Boy oh boy was it fun! I hadn't been there in a long time and it is a whole new world now that I can walk/run! We had lots of fun!

While I waited for Owen to arrive, I...

drove a car!

beep beep! I loved the horn!

And I read a book.

But then Owen got there and we went down the slide again and again!

We climbed up the squishy steps...

and played peek-a-boo with Laura...

and WHEEE! Down the slide!

See for yourself!

There goes Owen! You might notice he has a bandage on his left hand. He fell down last week and has a big boo-boo! When I saw him at church last week with his hand all bandaged, I told Momma all about it. I said, "Owen boo-boo hand! Owen, friend! Owen, friend, boo-boo!" I talked about it a lot. Owen is my friend.

Whee! Here I go! I go down the slide so fast sometimes I get all twisted around! What fun!

We sure had a fun time! Let's go again!
