The artist

Momma and Daddy gave me an art easel for my birthday. It came with watercolor paints, fingerpaints, and a big roll of paper for my artistic endeavors! Momma made me an art smock, which is very important as creativity can be messy at times.

You might notice, in these first 2 pictures, that I am naked. Well, I do have a diaper on, but other than that, NOTHING! I like to be naked. It just feels good to run around the house in no clothes sometimes, yelling "naked girl! naked girl!" It is very fun, trust me. Anyway, while I was being naked-girl, I got the urge to do some painting! So here is my debut at watercolors...

I enjoy painting with my clothes on as well, in case you were wondering. Painting is just plain fun, no matter how you do it! Auntie Silly helped me!

Creative minds at work...

THEN, Momma brought out the finger paints! WOWIE WOW!

Auntie Silly and I made lots of art together! She is very creative, that auntie of mine!

Here is how it went: I asked Silly to draw me a heart, then I smeared over it, then Silly drew another heart, then I smeared over it... You get the idea.

We made a masterpiece. Auntie took one of our beautiful pictures home and hung it in her office! I sure had fun with my Auntie!

Art is GREAT!

The Playground

I brought my family to the playground to play!

GG pushed me on the swings!

Then, I warmed up for the slides with a small slide,

before heading down the giant one! Wheee!

I collected treasures and brought them to Poppys. I gave him a variety of pine cones, rocks, leaves, acorns, and sticks!

What do you think of this one, Poppys?

GG and I played music on the chimes!

And I took a break on the giant books.

I love the park!

BIRTHDAY - Part 2

Not only was there a fun party with my family, but we had ANOTHER party with all of my friends! My birthday is very close to my friend Sterling's birthday, so we decided to have a party together! What a fantastic idea! Sterling has a SWIMMING POOL, so we had the party at his house.

We played in a bouncy house!

It was so nice to swim in the pool! It was a hot day! We are in HOUSTON, after all!

Momma and Auntie made yummy cake balls and cake pops like beach balls for the party!

Sterling and I had little cakes with beach balls on top of them! Did I mention that I LOVE CAKE?

"YUMMY CAKE!"

I was covered in stickiness from head to toe after thoroughly enjoying my birthday cake. It sure was worth it! YUM!

I sure had a fun birthday! A bouncy house, swimming pool, snacks, and cake!?! What a great day!

BIRTHDAY - Part 1

I turned 2! I am such a big girl. And I am so lucky because GG and Poppys and Auntie Silly came to celebrate with me! Boy oh boy, did we have a great time together! Having them here was a wonderful gift, but they also brought me presents!

Grammy Thelmarine sent some books and this ladybug with GG to give to me! Thank you Grammy Thelmarine! I LOVE books!!

Check out my new glasses! The orange parts are fishies that fold over the glasses! They are SO COOL!

Ok, I don't get this one. It is ONE SHOE. And it isn't for wearing, it is for when I practice doing laces and tying my shoe. I want to wear it on my foot!

A fishing boat for the bath! I played with one just like this when we visited Grandma and Papa Hugh so they sent me one! Papa likes to fish!!

Did you know there are magnetic "paper dolls" called PRINCESS ELISE?? Clearly the people who made this don't know how to spell my name! Oh, boy!

Momma likes the princess doll too!

I am such a big girl, now I have my own bike!

Cool girl on the bike!

Momma tried the bike but it was too small for her. Silly, Momma.

GG tried the bike too. It fits her a little better than Momma, but it is still too small! Silly GG!

Ah, an easel for my masterpieces!

LET THERE BE CAKE! I love cake, by the way.

Momma helped me blow out the candles!

DIG IN!

I figured 2 forks were better than 1 to get at this delicious cake!

I had a wonderful birthday. Thank you to everyone!

Sweet Logan

My doggie Logan has gone to heaven. Momma recently bought me a book called "Dog Heaven" and it tells all about how great doggie heaven is. In fact, there is a doggie in that book that I like to point to and say "Logan, running! Heaven!". I started telling Momma that this was Logan right before Logan actually went to heaven and now I am certain that doggie is Logan. Logan could not run anymore before, but now, he can run and run and bark at cats and chase squirrels. I know he is happy that he no longer has any pain from his boo-boos. We already really miss Logan. He was a gigantic bundle of love, really. We are all very sad. Momma is especially sad, because Logan and Momma have been together for a long long time. But we are so happy that he blessed us with his sweet life.

Here are some pictures of our sweet Logan:

You have probably seen this one before, but it is so cute I had to show it to you again. This was when Logan was a baby!

Here are Momma and Logan the day Momma and Daddy got engagement pictures done. Logan was so handsome in the bluebonnets!

Logan's favorite toy was his hedgehog. There are no substitutes for a hedgehog.

If you know Logan, you know he liked to give kisses. He would lick up my entire face and head and make it look like I used hair-gel! Those are some good kisses!

Here is Logan in April. He had just seen the groomer, hence the jaunty neck-scarf!

Logan enjoying some good loving from Momma!

What a beautiful smile!

Logan sure loved Momma. And Momma sure loves Logan. Aunt Laura took this picture and Momma looks at it all the time. Thank you, Laura, for such a beautiful picture for Momma.

Our house feels strange without sweet Logan. Good thing he left behind a bunch of his hair to make us smile!

Run, run, Logan. Enjoy heaven, sweet doggie.
