Pumpkin Moonshine, part 3

You might be wondering about the pumpkin moonshine.  Well, after we came home from the pumpkin patch, I took a long nap, and then we carved our pumpkin moonshine!

Hmmm, what is in there?

It's squishy!!

You have to get all of the seeds out.

I found a seed!

And here are our masterpieces!  I asked Momma to give the big pumpkin a mean face and the little pumpkin a sad face.  I made funny faces too!!

After a day like this, I needed a good bath!  So I took one in Momma's tub!

Daddy did my hair.  What do you think?

SILLY!

I had such a fun day!!

Pumpkin Moonshine, part 2

As I was saying, there were many fun things to do at this pumpkin patch.  Are you ready for more?  I went on a PONY RIDE!

This is my pony, Beau.  I picked him because he was the color of chocolate!  Also, notice he is wearing a purple blanket, and I am wearing a purple shirt!  We match!

 Look at me!

Momma walked with me while I rode Beau.  Isn't Beau pretty?  I kept saying "I'm riding a horse!" the whole time.  It was so much fun!

They also had a petting zoo, and I pet a little baby calf (not much bigger than Lucy!!), and a goat, and saw some chickens and a pig and some turkeys and some peacocks!

Then, I got to pet this little bunny rabbit!!

Hi, bunny!

 He was SO SOFT!

I found an acorn!

Want to eat my acorn?

After having tons of fun, we rode the hayride back to our car and went home.  What a fun morning!

Oh, are you wondering about the pumpkin moonshine?  Tune in tomorrow for more details!

Pumpkin Moonshine, part 1

It is October, which makes it pumpkin moonshine time!  Do you know what a pumpkin moonshine is?  Some people call them Jack-o-lantern's, but we call them pumpkin moonshines.  That is because I have a book called Pumpkin Moonshine (by Tasha Tudor), that G gave me, and I love that book.  ANYWAY, on Saturday morning, we went to a PUMPKIN PATCH!  Boy, oh, boy, was it GREAT FUN!  When we first got there, we parked by a fence and some horses came over to greet me!  I got to pet them!  Then we took a hayride to the pumpkin patch area!  Whee!  I had a great time playing with the pumpkins!

Wowie, pumpkins are heavy!

Ugh...

I've got it!

Hey, pumpkin! Come join us over here!
There you go!

Pumpkin love!

The pumpkins were a lot of fun, but just wait, there is more!  Not only were there pumpkins here, but there was much, much more!  Check back tomorrow for more pictures!

Riding a tricycle

I have a tricycle that I am trying to ride!  I am ALMOST big  enough, and can reach the pedals most of the time, except when the front wheel is turned.  I think tricycles are kind of tippy, so I am very careful on my bike.  Here I am practicing on my bike!

It takes some concentration to get moving!

Do you see what a big girl I am??

Whoo-whee!  This is fun!

See how it takes some real UMPH to get those pedals around sometimes?

Ok, so you might be wondering, WHAT IS SHE WEARING?  This particular morning, I decided I wanted to wear this skirt and this t-shirt.  But it was kinda chilly outside and Momma said I needed something on my legs, so we picked out these leg warmers that Momma made me!  I am a fashionista in my argyle leg warmers!

Check me out!

I am hiding by the tree!

Cooler weather!

Momma and I must have brought some Kansas City weather back with us to Houston!  It has been BEAUTIFUL here the past few days!  I love it.  The other morning, we went to the park and I got to wear a sweater!  It was wonderful.  I am ready for autumn!

My baby doll and I had great fun at the park.  I love this cooler weather!  I hope it stays and stays!
