Picking Strawberries

On Monday, Momma and I went to a farm to pick strawberries!  It was SO MUCH FUN.

First, we got these two buckets to fill up.  Each bucket can hold about 5 pounds of strawberries!

I was very careful to only pick dark red, juicy strawberries.  I tried to pick the ones that matched my shirt.  I like things to match.

There were ROWS and ROWS of yummy strawberries!

Want to see what I've picked?

You have to be very careful when you pick strawberries, so you don't squish them or pick ones that aren't ready yet.  I am a strawberry picking pro!

Woah!  This bucket is getting heavy!

Look at this one!

These are BIG strawberries!
You may not be able to tell, but my shirt has a cupcake with a strawberry on top and says "Berry Sweet".  I thought it was the perfect shirt for the occasion.

After we filled our first two buckets, we went back for another bucket!  We couldn't stop!  SO FUN.

Oh boy!  I think this bucket is full!  It is HEAVY!

So now we have LOTS and LOTS of strawberries.  We've been talking about strawberry pie, strawberry ice cream, strawberry bread, strawberry shortcake....  Oh, the yummy things you can make with fresh strawberries!

Barefoot in the Park

The weather has been so nice here!  It is spring and we are really enjoying this nice weather.  Momma and I went to the park!  The surface of the park is made of small rocks, which kept getting in my sandals and hurting my feet, so I decided I should go barefoot!  It is great to go barefoot in the park!

Let's get these rocks out of my toes!

Climbing is fun in bare feet!

 Here I go...

 Poised for the slide!

 See my bare feet??

Bare feet are FUN!

Livestock Show

We went to the Livestock Show!  We almost missed it altogether but then Momma and Daddy remembered that March 20th was the last day so we went!  I am so glad!  Boy did I have fun!  I got to see and pet a bunch of animals!  It was great!

Here I am with a cow!  She was a baby cow even though she was really really big!

I liked petting her.  The girl you see is the girl who owns the cow.  She sure loved her cow.  She sat by her and petted her cow and rubbed her ear.  It was really sweet.

She was so soft and sweet!

We also went to the petting area and there were lots of different animals there including this llama!  Momma was so impressed to see a llama.  She kept singing the "Momma Llama" song.  It's on one of my favorite cd's, The Best of Hullaballoo.  Have it?  You should check it out, if you don't!

Llamas are soft!

While I was petting the llama, a goat came over to say hello!

More baby goats!

Then we saw some baby chicks!

I went on a pony ride!

Yahoo!  It was so fun!  I also got to pet a pig and some bunnies!  I had so much fun, I haven't stopped talking about it!

A Princess Party!

One of my friends at school just turned 3 and she had a Princess Party to celebrate!  Momma made me a fancy princess skirt and wrap, and I got all dressed up and went to the party!

I'm ready to go!

I got my hair done fancy!  I am not sure if you can tell, but they put glitter in it so it was all sparkly!

I wasn't sure what to think!

Here I am with some of the other princesses!

They had a tea party for us.  They served "Princess Tea" which is actually pink lemonade.

I thought "Princess Tea" was yucky.  I prefer water.

Afterwards, Momma tried to get some pictures of me...

So I made my silly faces!!
