Yee-ha, Cowgirl!

We went to the rodeo!  Well, to be clear, we went to the livestock part of the rodeo...  We don't actually go to the rodeo part.  The livestock part is where you get to see all of the animals, which is the best part anyway.  We saw baby pigs and cows and chicks!  We saw a baby cow that had been born the very same morning we were there, and weighed 75 pounds!  Momma said she sure was glad she wasn't a cow!  That's one big baby!

We went to the petting zoo and I got to pet a llama, goats, pigs, and a wallaby! Then I went for a pony ride!

Here I am on Shadow!  I LOVED riding her.  It was so much fun!

I also got to pet a bunny rabbit!

And I saw Elsie the cow!  I love Elsie.  The best thing about Elsie at the rodeo, is that the people who bring her ALSO sell chocolate milk!  So now only do I get to pet Elsie, I also get to drink a yummy chocolate milk!  Mmmm..

Daddy came with us to the rodeo, and was there while I did all the stuff I just mentioned.  After we ate lunch, he had to go to work and Momma and I went to the carnival.  This is the first year we've looked at the carnival part.  It ended up being a bit tricky, as pregnant mommas are not allowed to ride any rides, and kids have to be a certain height to ride without an adult with them!  It turned out okay though, because most of the rides were way too scary for me and I didn't want to ride them anyway!  We found a ride I could do by myself, so that is what I did...

I jumped on this purple sparkly four-wheeler and took it for a spin.  To be honest, I was not very impressed and I was glad when it was over.  After that ride I told Momma I was ready to go potty and get back on the train to go home.  We took the train to and from the rodeo.  That is the best ride!

After the rodeo, Momma and I were EXHAUSTED.  It was a lot of walking!  We came home, piled up in Momma's bed, and took a nap together!

What a fun day!
