Photos with Callie

Our friend Callie came in town for the weekend and and we took my 9 month photos together. It was really fun. The best part, though, was that Callie and Hutson spent the night here on Thursday night! I had a slumber party with my prom date, Hutson! Yahoo! Here are a few of the shots Callie took:

Yep, you guessed it, Momma made this outfit for me. Cute, huh?

Sunshine

The weather has been really nice here so Momma and I have had fun outdoors. Momma said it is important to protect your skin so when I go out I wear my ice-cream cone hat! I wore it last summer too and it still fits, in fact it is a little big! That is funny because it is supposed to be a "newborn" size hat. Momma is glad my head wasn't big enough for this hat as a newborn!




















Momma also made me wear these sunglasses. I don't like them very much.















But she brought me to play on the swings and I could forget about the sunglasses for a while!











Will I be okay with sunglasses after all??

Carpet Picnic

Momma and I had a carpet picnic! It was fun!






















We had cheerios and water. I am learning to hold a sippy cup all by myself! Carpet picnics are fun!

Today I helped Momma make my breakfast.

While we are on the hat subject, check out this hat my momma made me for next winter. Isn't it cute? First she knit it up:

You can see a bunch of strings hanging, because she planned to line it with fleece! Now it is super cozy! Check it out!
Did you know that this hat is almost famous? Yep, for the very first Harry Potter movie, the director wanted a hat for baby Harry to wear when he was going to be left in the basket at number four, Privet Drive. This hat was designed, but it ended up being rather warm that day, so they decided not to use it! It may have been different colors, but it was this hat! I think Harry missed out!

9 months old today!

Do you know what today is? It is my 9 month birthday! Can you believe it? I can't. As you know, I am almost crawling now. I also eat food all by myself and babble and laugh a lot! I love to play and I really like watching my two doggies, Logan and Lucy. They are so much fun. Sometimes I get close enough to pet them! Lucy likes to come into my room when Momma is reading me stories before bedtime. She likes story time too! She also likes to sit by my chair when I eat. She's no dummy, that Lucy!

I saw the doctor for my 9 month checkup and didn't have to get any shots! It was marvelous. She checked me out and said I was beautiful!

It is getting hard to take pictures of me with my month birthday signs! Paper is fun to crinkle. It makes a cool noise. I also like to try chewing on it but it doesn't taste very good and Momma reminds me that I am not a billy goat so I shouldn't eat paper!

Momma got me this new ball! I like it a lot!

Almost crawling

I am almost crawling! Currently I like to do what Momma calls a "commando crawl", and I crawl with my arms but scoot my belly along the floor. I sometimes get onto my knees, but I haven't completely figured that part out yet. It doesn't matter though, because this is fun!

Another hat!

It has been chilly here, so Momma let me wear another of my cool hats when we went to the park on Monday. Momma says I look like an elf!

All strapped in and ready to go! The straps on the sides are for when we attach my carseat whem Momma takes me jogging. I like to chew on them when we are just going for a ride! Let's go!

Another day at the park

As I said, it was cold yesterday, but it was really pretty outside, so Momma and I took Daddy to the park! We had a great time. There were lots of kids there playing. I, of course, had fun on the swings!

You know how my mom likes to knit? Well, it was cold here yesterday so I got to wear a sweater and hat she made me before I was even born! I actually wore this hat home from the hospital, but it was rolled up on the sides because my head was much smaller (thank goodness!). Thanks, Momma, for sharing your talents with me!

Black beans!

Boy, do I like food! Especially now that I can feed myself! Momma made me some black beans for lunch! They are yummy! Momma took a video of me eating my black beans and cheerios. I like to talk while I eat. You will also hear Daddy making lunch for he and Momma in the background...
