Cinderella!

Momma and I went to the theatre to see the play Cinderella!  It was cold in the theatre but once I got over the cold and the darkness, I LOVED it!  I have been reading the story of Cinderella a lot at home, so I was ready for the play!

After the show Momma took my picture with Cinderella!  I was so excited!

(I did NOT want my picture with the stepmother or stepsisters!)

We had a great time! 

I Rode a Ferris Wheel!!

We pass a ferris wheel every time we go to church.  It is downtown and is part of a restaurant attraction.  I have always wondered what the ferris wheel was.  Then I checked out a book from the library, and there was a child in the story that rode a ferris wheel!  So I decided I wanted to ride one too!  As a special treat, Momma and Daddy took me to ride the ferris wheel!  Wow. 

 Momma and Daddy rode with me.  I was a little scared at first.

 Ferris wheels go WAY up in the sky!

It is pretty amazing.

 

 I looked all around.

Can you see how high up we are?  At one point we STOPPED at the top!  Yikes.  That is when I sat with my Daddy.  Can you see I am holding on to his leg hair for dear life?  

 

I never got very comfortable on the ferris wheel.  But I decided I liked it and would like to do it again some time.

Daddy's New Hat

 Sometimes when Daddy travels for work, he visits places where he needs to wear a hard hat.  Once when he came home from a trip, he brought the hat for me to play with.  It was gigantic and really hard!  For Daddy's birthday, one of his friends bought him a new hard hat.  It is a cowboy hat!  I think it is really funny.  

 On Daddy it looks normal (is there any way to describe a cowboy hard hat as normal??)  but on me it looks like a 10 Gallon hat!  Funny.

 I can't wait to hear about Daddy's co-workers reactions when Daddy wears this hat for work.  

That will be funny!

At the Symphony with Daddy

Momma and I got Daddy tickets to see Baseball at the Symphony for his birthday!  I was Daddy's date.  He was a lucky daddy, don't you think?  All of the music was about baseball.  I especially liked it when they played "Deep in the Heart of Texas", because I know that song!  Daddy wanted to bring his baseball glove with us, but Momma reminded him that we were going to the symphony, and it was highly unlikely that anyone would be throwing baseballs around the instruments!

 I got to play the xylophone again!  

 And the flute!  I love all of the buttons on a flute.

Daddy was super excited that this guy was there.  His name is Milo Hamilton and he was the announcer for the Houston Astros when Daddy was growing up.  Daddy thought it was a big deal but I thought he was a scary old man.  I made Daddy get in the picture with me! 

I had fun listening to the music.  It was a fun date with my daddy!

At the Splash Park

 It has been warm enough to enjoy the splash park! 

After playing in the water, I changed clothes and played on the playground some.

I am walking on a springy balance beam.  It is tricky!

My friends Shelby and Jack were there too.  It was a fun surprise to play with them at the park!

 On another day, I met my friend, Aliya, at the splash park.  Momma and her momma planned it!   I like Aliya a lot.  She is in my class at school and our mommas work out together at the gym!

Aliya brought a bucket and some "princesses" to the splash park.  We gave them baths (by aggressively dunking them in the bucket head first)!!  It was great fun!  Afterwards, we had a picnic.  What a fun morning!

Swimming with my new friend

A few weeks ago, I went swimming with my new friend, Cooper.  She is a little baby!  Isn't she a cutie-pie??!!

 I like to give her kisses.

Cooper didn't get in the water and swim with me.  The water was kind of chilly so it was not a good idea for a little baby to get in.  Maybe next time she can get in with me.  I can't wait to teach her all my tricks!

Easter Post-Sugar

We just unearthed this video.  This is me after enjoying some Easter treats.... 

I don't get sugar very often...
