Easter, part 4

This is the final Easter post, I promise.  We just had so much fun celebrating that there was a lot to show you!

After the Easter egg hunt at our house, some friends came over for dinner!  Miss Lisa came.  She used to teach my music class but I don't go there anymore (and she doesn't teach there anymore....is there a connection???  Hmmm...).  She babysits for me and I LOVE her.  Owen and Laura and Nick came too!  And our friend Moses from church!  It was like a party!

While dinner was being prepared, Owen and I played with Legos!

Lucy played too, for a while...

 And Miss Lisa played with us, too!  

Every year, Momma and Aunt Laura take pictures of Owen and I on Easter.

 

Here is our first Easter together, in 2008.

I was 10 months old, Owen was 14 months.

This was last year, 2010.

I was almost 22 months old, Owen was 26 months.

Now that we are older, it is harder to get a picture of us together!  We are moving targets!  Finally Aunt Laura decided we should stand against the wall and see who is the tallest.  We acquiesced.

 

So here we are this year, 2011. 

Owen turned 3 in February, and I will be 3 in June!

We are big kids now!

Easter, part 3

The Easter Bunny came during my nap!  He left clues in eggs hidden around the house so I could find my Easter basket!  There were lots of clues and we went all over the house, collecting eggs and clues.

It was so much fun!  What a clever bunny!

Here's a clue...  It looks like a teapot!

Look Momma!  Here is my teapot!

 The egg in my teapot had another clue!

 The clue was a fireplace!  And look, another egg!

The fireplace egg had a picture of an Easter basket and a garden! 

Here we go!

What's inside?

 A microphone! 

And a new water bottle!  It is just like Momma's, just smaller!

Wow!

If you look, there is also a book and a flower headband in my basket.

That is one clever Easter bunny!

After I found my basket, I saw that there were more eggs hidden in our yard!

 I found the eggs!

 There were lots more eggs in the yard!  

These were filled with treats!

Stickers, raisins and dried cherries!  Yippee!

Hmmm, are there any more?

Ah ha!

Easter, part 2

We went to an Easter Egg hunt at church!  I found lots of eggs!  

The hunt begins!

 Ah-ha!  Here's another one!

 I am wearing what I call my "Diva sunglasses".  

I picked them out at the store all by myself. 

 I think they are FABULOUS.

It is important to wear sunglasses on a bright sunny day.  

Why not wear diva glasses?

It was a beautiful day for an egg hunt.

Yes, Momma made my awesome outfit.  I am so lucky!

Easter, part 1

Yesterday, we colored Easter eggs!  It was great!  Daddy was very careful to make pretty patterns on his, but I prefer to just dunk the eggs and see what happens!  It is an experiment! 

 Let's see, first we'll dunk the egg here...

Even Lucy got in on the fun!

 I am really thinking hard.  You can tell, because my tongue is sticking out!!

Coloring Easter eggs is so fun!  We made some beautiful eggs!

Playing Hopscotch

This weekend, Momma drew a big hopscotch board on the driveway, and we played hopscotch!  

FUN!

I did it!

Now it's Daddy's turn!

 Daddy can hop on one foot.  I can't do that yet.

And then it was Momma's turn!

We had loads of fun!
