Visiting Auntie Silly, part 3

We went to a farm! What fun! I saw chickens and cows and goats and bunny rabbits and ducks and turkeys!

This is Charlotte the cow. We were checking each other out through the fences.

Cow bells!

I got to feed the baby goats. I wasn't so sure of it, as they are pretty pushy little goats!

So I let Momma feed them, and I just played with them!

Auntie fed them, too!

Before I left, I gave many of the goats little kisses. They were cute!

Then we went on a hayride! I was not sure I was going to like this, but once we got going, it was really fun! Especially when the driver made the horses run fast! Whee!

What a great farm! I had so much fun. And as you can see, it was chilly outside, which was such a great break from being in Houston! Momma always says how great Autumn is, and now I understand!

Visiting Auntie Silly, part 2

There is a REASON I call Auntie "Silly". She is very silly! Here is a game we played at her house: Auntie pretended she was sleeping, and I jumped on top of her and woke her up! We played again and again. It is a really fun game!

Visiting Auntie Silly, part 1

Momma and I just got back from a trip to Kansas City to visit Auntie Silly! Boy oh boy did we have a great time! My auntie is so great. She is a little kid at heart so we have a fabulous time together! She took me to a place where I could build my own stuffed animal! I picked a doggie (are you surprised?) I dressed her in pink polka-dotted panties and pink sparkly shoes! She is super cute. I had great fun at the store, but we don't have any photos of that yet, as they were all taken with Auntie's camera. When we get copies, I'll let you all know! In the mean time, let me introduce you to my new doggie, Daisy!

Isn't she cute? We took her to the park!

Daisy likes the slide!

There were duckies swimming in the pond!

Daisy and I sure had fun at the park, Auntie!

Momma's new toy

Momma got a new toy. It is a sewing machine and Momma is so thrilled! Here is Momma's new toy:

Her name is Ruby.

Momma and Ruby's first project together was the Oliver + S Jump Rope Dress. Momma joined a sew-along and made me this incredible dress!

Yippee! Check me out in my new dress!

Me and my creative Momma!!

I love the flowers. I thought I'd give this one a hug...

Hey look, another one!

You may not be able to tell from the photos, but this dress has a button placket, collar, and set-in sleeves. Very tricky things that Momma mastered!! And several buttonholes and buttons! Momma loves Ruby. I think I am really going to like Ruby, too!

Re-purposed

Check out my new dress:

Look closer...

Does it look familiar? This used to be a men's dress shirt! Momma made it into a dress!

Isn't that cool? She made me another one too, out of one of Daddy's old shirts! I am so lucky!

Discovery Green

There is a new-ish play area downtown called Discovery Green. They have an incredible splash-pad there, so we sometimes go there on the weekend! It is really fun.

This is such a great splash-pad because there are lots and lots of places where the water comes out and sometimes they are BIG and sometimes small and you just never know what is going to happen next! What fun!

Friends

A few weeks ago, we went to my friend Daniel's house to play. Momma and Daddy caught up with Daniel's parents, Sean and Melanie, while Daniel and I had a blast! Daniel was born only 5 days after me. He has this AWESOME pool in the backyard! Check this out!

There in the background is Daniel's momma, Melanie.

Seriously, there are 2 different play areas and a slide in-between!!

After we wore ourselves out playing in the pool, we enjoyed home-made fudge-sicles!! YUM!

It sure was fun seeing our friends!!
