My pal Lucy

I love my "ru-ru" (aka Lucy). She is my special friend. As you may know, Lucy has been very sick. She started having seizures in late January and we have been very worried about her. Well, she saw her neurologist recently and we found out that the bad spots in Lucy's brain were 95% gone! It is a miracle (both the neurologist and our regular vet both agree!) We are all so happy.

Kisses for Ru-ru!

And lots of pat-pats!

Awwww, good Ru-ru...

I can pet her with my feet!

Check me out in the big office chair!

A day at the park

Momma and I went to the park. I wore my new hat. Momma likes to get me big floppy hats so they cover as much as possible! My new hat has ladybugs on it. I like it!

Swingin' in my new hat!

I'm a smart cookie. I wear a hat and stay hydrated in the sun!

Boo!

Chillin'...

Run, run, run!

A big slide! Here's the top...

On the way down...

Strawberry Cupcakes!

These photos are from late February, when Momma found a cool cupcake trailer near our house! Yep, you read that right, a trailer where you can buy yummy cupcakes! Momma bought me a strawberry cupcake and boy oh boy was it DELISH! I got to eat half one night and half the next. The first night I devoured so fast Momma didn't even get a chance to get the camera! I even licked the plate! So the next night, she was ready:

I like to eat the icing first!

Then comes the cake part...

Eating cupcakes can be very messy!

18 month pics with Callie

A while back we went up to Austin for my 18 month pictures! We tried to do them outside but we had this crazy cold spell and it was just FREEZING! I wasn't so happy about being outside, and neither was anyone else! So, we took them at Callie's house! Here I am!

See? It was cold!

In case you are wondering, yes, Momma made my awesome ice-cream cone sweater.

Thanks, Callie, for more awesome pictures!

Shades

Well, I know it is good for your eyes to wear your sunglasses outside, but I like to wear them all the time. Momma wears glasses, as you know, so now I have glasses too! Check out the cool girls! Me and Lucy!

My future's so bright, I gotta wear shades! -Timbuk3

My cool ride

Check it out. I have this super-cool ride. My friend Emma got too big for this ride so her momma gave it to us! I LOVE it. Momma and I like to go on bike rides around our neighborhood and to different parks. It is so fun.

I like to wear my sunglasses. It is important to protect your eyes!

When you ride bikes, you need to wear a helmet. Momma and I bought our helmets together. I was so excited I kept saying "HAT! HAT!" The man helping us said "Oh, man, she is the easiest fitting I've ever had!", so then I said "Oh, man, HAT!". I love my hat. It looks like a mouse, in case you couldn't tell. I used to wear it around the house a lot, but now we keep it in the ride in the garage.

I'm ready!

Hat...check! Drink...check!

Pull down the bug/sun shade and I am ready to ride! Off we go!

Rodeo!

We went to the Rodeo! Rodeo time is a BIG DEAL in Houston. I mean, it is serious! There is one day called "Go Texan" and people wear their cowboy outfits all day. It's funny! And a bunch of people do this trail ride from I don't know where all the way into Houston, on horses and buggies! Momma and Daddy took me to the livestock show so I could see the animals. Wow. I got to see COWS and PIGS and CHICKENS and BUNNIES and GOATS and SHEEP! Plus they had an area with BABY animals, so I got to see some baby piggies, some lambs, and some chicks! Our camera ran out of battery so you only get to see the pigs, but there were a LOT of animals there! After seeing the animals we had dinner and I got to eat my first corn-dog! Yee-haw!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

I just got back from visiting my Grandma and Grandpa Sanborn in Colorado! Boy, oh, boy we had fun!

Grandpa played ball with me! He could make the ball go really high!

I got lots of cuddles from Grandma. These pictures were taken while we skyped with Aunt Elizabeth, Hanna, and Samuel in Spain! How cool is that?!!? I also helped Grandma make a rhubarb crisp and some brownies! I am a good cook.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa: The Park

Down the street from Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood is a terrific park! It is called Fossil Creek Park, and so there are big fossils there and there is even a woolly mammoth in the middle! Grandma took a picture of me by the woolly mammoth so when she sends it to me I'll show you! Anyway, it is a great park and we went several times!

Of course I enjoyed the swings!

Then there was this twirly spinning thing... You can't tell, but there is something on top that Daddy was holding on to and turning.

WHEEE!

Ok, now you know how I can go down the slide all by myself? Well, I have NO FEAR when it comes to slides, now. You show me a slide and I will conquer it all by myself! I am a dare-devil!

Here is the sign next to this slide: Notice the suggested age range! HA!

Though it appears that I was going to go down the slide on Daddy's lap, I said NO to that idea. I wanted to go down alone! So I did! Again, and again, and again....

The park also has a big pond with lot of ducks! I fed the ducks!

Walking with my daddy.

There were some areas that still had some piled up snow so I made sure I walked in it! I like snow!

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa: The Farm

We went to a farm! I got to see all sorts of great animals that I had only seen in books!

I'm on a tractor!

Chickens! Cluck, cluck, cluck

Baa, baa black sheep, have you any wool?

Hi horsey!

This big cow is Chloe. She is pregnant and was due to have her baby in 2 days! She was really really big! A lady at the farm said the baby would weigh 45 lbs when born! Momma said she felt sad for Chloe because that is a big baby!

Daddy and I moo-ed at the cows!

The farm was located at a big park, so right next to the farm was the playground! Yippee!

I rode on a see-saw! You can't see Momma, because she is on the other end!

Swings! I tried to get Grandpa with my feet!

Daddy, Grandpa, and I had a race! I won, because I rode the horsey! Don't Daddy and Grandpa know that a horsey is faster than a chicken and a donkey?

More slides!

On the way back to the car, we passed by the fields for the horseys and they came over to greet us!

I fed them some grass!

I LOVED the farm! It was so great! Ft. Collins sure knows how to make some great parks!
